The John Wick prequel series The Continental has just added five new cast members. Joining the prolific action franchise will be Supergirl‘s Katie McGrath, Rectify‘s Ray McKinnon, Never Have I Ever‘s Adam Shapiro, Fear the Walking Dead‘s Mark Musashi, and Malignant‘s Marina Mazepa. McGrath will portray The Adjudicator, a character that first debuted in the franchise’s third installment, while McKinnon and Shapiro will play new characters named Jenkins and Lemmy.
Musashi and Mazepa round out the cast with two High Table assassins Hansel and Gretel. The five will be joined by Mel Gibson, Colin Woodell, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, Nhung Kate, and Ben Robson on the cast, with Greg Coolidge and Kirk Ward as showrunners and co-writers. The three-night event will explore the origins of the Continental, a hotel acting as a safe haven for assassins spotlighted in the John Wick franchise. Woodell’s Winston Scott will play the central character in a ’70s New York City, venturing through a dark and mysterious underworld “in a harrowing attempt to seize the iconic hotel, which serves as the meeting point for the world’s most dangerous criminals.” There’s currently no official release date yet for The Continental, so fans of the John Wick series should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.
