One Punch Man Trivia

  • Acting for Two: Daisuke Namikawa voiced Dr. Genus and Pig God.
  • All-Star Cast: The voice acting credits are basically a roll call of anime's top Japanese voice actors - even one-episode characters are voiced by heavy hitters such as Miyuki Sawashiro (Mosquito Girl) and Unshō Ishizuka (Asura Rhino). This also applies to the production of the anime, with big names in the industry working alongside Madhouse's in-house staff for most of the episodes. The English cast is no slouch, either, bringing together voice actors from not only Bang Zoom's stable, but also Texas, including Funimation's Christopher Sabat and Mike McFarland.

  • Vaccineman in the Japanese version is voiced by Ryusei Nakao, who voices Baikinman from Anpanman, the character who Vaccineman took his inspiration for his name from. The dub just cuts straight to the chase and cast Piccolo himself.
  • In the dub, the Beast King is voiced by Paul St. Peter (who voiced Leomon).
  • This isn't the first time either Bryce Papenbrook (English) or Miguel Angel Leal (Latin American Spanish) can change into a titan.
  • This isn't the first time Jamieson Price has been an intelligent robot warrior, though he's upgraded from a cyborg to a robot drone controlled by a scientist.
  • Saitama is voiced by Makoto Furukawa, who later got the role as one of the most famous mythological Invincible Hero Achilles
  • The French dub casts rapper Orelsan as the voice of Saitama. Outside of acting, his music portfolio is known for carrying some pop-culture referenced songs, making his role fitting for the character.
  • Yusuke Murata's favorite characters are Boros and the Deep Sea King because of how much of an impact they've had on the world. ONE's favorite characters are Saitama, King, and the Deep Sea King.
  • Murata has stated he dislikes Sweet Mask. Because of this, he tries to draw him as handsome as possible to get over his feelings.
  • The Esper sisters Tatsumaki and Fubuki are both 28 years old and 23 years old respectfully, but their Japanese voice actors are not. Aoi Yūki, Tatsumaki's voice actress, is a year younger than Saori Hayami, Fubuki's voice actress. This is even more notable in the Latin American Spanish dub, as Tatsumaki's voice actress, Azul Valadez, was 21 years old when she voiced her.
  • One of the main reasons that the first season, an anime with an average budget, has such beautiful animation. While the second season's animation suffered due to the studio change, some of animator Kenichiro Aoki's best work is in the series just because he loves it.
  • With My Hero Academia. Ironically, both shows and their English dubs are also distributed in the U.S. by rival companies, with One-Punch Man distributed by Viz Media and dubbed by Bang Zoom! Entertainment, while My Hero Academia is dubbed in-house and distributed by Funimation.
  • There's a rumor floating around that ONE said Saitama's Serious Punch is half the strength of the Big Bang, and that he could easily destroy the entire universe with only his punches. No records of ONE saying this exists.
  • Yusuke Murata himself. He loved ONE's work on One-Punch Man before talks even began for the manga adaptation; after a near-death experience due to a respiratory issue, Murata decided that he wanted to collaborate with ONE at least once before the end of his life. Fortunately, he recovered and the two are now an impressive team.
  • Zach Aguilar, a self-professed fan of the webcomic, joins the English dub cast.
  • Max Mittelman and Zach Aguilar as Saitama and Genos. Here, they are allies, unlike their roles in Aldnoah.Zero as Inaho Kaizuka and Slaine Troyard, where they are enemies.
  • An internal version occurs between adaptations. In the webcomic and manga, Saitama and Genos' mail is air-dropped because of how dangerous City Z is; in the anime, it's delivered via drone instead.
  • While season two of the anime didn't turn out completely terrible, many fans were disappointed by its animation, sound direction, and pacing. A lot of this was due to the studio change forcing JC Staff to suddenly stuff One-Punch Man in between several other shows that were also in the works, leading to a lot of priorities changing and production being rushed. If one is to look at JC Staff's other works at the time such as A Certain Scientific Railgun T, the production is much cleaner and the animation much prettier.
  • Originally Boros had a much different design, appearing less like an alien and more like a generic one-eyed Bishōnen in demonic black armor. Later, during his fight with Saitama, Boros broke off one of the ship's fins and threw it at Saitama, nearly bisecting the entire spacecraft in the process. This was all redrawn, making him look more alien and swapping out the fin-toss for the moon-kick. There was also a plan for a flipbook animation of Bang hurtling through rubble after being hit by Melzargard, though it never got past the draft phase.
  • According to Murata, the energy balls used by Vaccine Man, Homeless Emperor, and Choze are all made of the same kind of energy.
  • Murata revealed what ethnicities certain characters would be in the real world: Genos would be German, Tatsumaki and Fubuki would be French, King would be American, Sweet Mask would be Korean, Suiryu would be Italian, and Choze would be Russian.
  • If Metal Bat were at the Monster Association raid, things would've gone very differently.
  • Murata said he doesn't know who'd win between Saitama and Goku.
  • Sonic would've been able to kill the Deep Sea King if he still had his weapons and if it didn't start raining. Also, Sonic and Genos are evenly matched and a fight would be inconclusive.
  • Murata said that Orochi is above Dragon-level but not God-level, similar to Boros. He also stated that Groribas, Melzargard, and Geryuganshoop wouldn't even come close to defeating him, even if they made plans beforehand and worked together.
  • ONE stated Golden Sperm is as powerful as Ossan from Makai no Ossan. Murata said that he's not sure who would win between him and Orochi, since Golden Sperm is much faster but Orochi is more skilled in martial arts.
  • The character design of Saitama is based on the gag anime superhero Anpanman from Soreike! Anpanman (1988).
  • Saitama's name comes from the Japanese province where the creator "ONE" used to live.
  • Lord Boros is the first villain in the series to survive Saitama's punch, giving the longest fight Saitama has ever encountered in the series.
  • Saitama is directly responsible for the creation of the Hero Association by saving the big chinned brat who is the grand child of the founder of the Hero Association. When the founder come to know of this incident he came up with the Hero Association system.
  • Murata made Saitama bald superhero cause he saw the world full of cool good looking heroes, and he believes that heroes coolness comes from their spirit not their looks.

Elder Centipede - One Punch Man

Elder Centipede (ムカデ長老, Mukade Chōrō; Viz: Centichoro) was a Dragon-level Mysterious Being and an executive member of the Monster Association. He was killed by Saitama.

Appearance

Elder Centipede was a gargantuan centipede creature. In the center of his head was an old, wrinkled, humanoid face. Elder Centipede's appearance, in contrast to his smaller counterparts Junior Centipede and Senior Centipede, was far more antagonizing and intimidating. In the manga, his carapace was dark black; in the anime, his armor is dark purple. His centipede face, directly below the humanoid head, had four glowing eyes, long antennae, and a large mouth with sharp teeth. His initial width was 15 meters wide, with 3 layers of faces. After molting during his fight with Bang, Bomb and Genos, Elder Centipede grew even larger in size and his third face peeled back to reveal a fourth along with 2 additional glowing eyes. The fourth face had an additional eye on its forehead and his mandibles were also significantly larger than before.

Personality

Elder Centipede's first notable trait was that compared to his counterparts, Junior Centipede and Senior Centipede, he was much more stoic and less verbose. He was far more focused, tactical, and cautious of his opponents, ignoring conflict and going directly after his targets instead of engaging in pointless fights - because of his immense size and powerful defense, he could easily tank any attacks directed his way. He is not known to have had his own ideas or ambitions, just being content to work as a higher-up of the Monster Association.

However, due to nearly dying to Blast two years ago, Elder Centipede holds a vicious grudge against him and would jump at any chance to get a rematch. This is shown when he immediately abandoned his fight with Bang, Bomb, and Genos when King announced that Blast was nearby. It's possible that it was because of this defeat at Blast's hands that he became less arrogant and more careful.

Abilities and Powers

Elder Centipede was a Dragon-level executive member of the Monster Association and one of the largest monsters in the series. It was noted that he even grew in size since two years prior to re-emerge and this massive size along with his speed and power makes him an extremely powerful monster. According to Gyoro Gyoro, there were only four heroes from the Hero Association capable of defeating Elder Centipede: Tatsumaki, Metal Knight, King (Saitama), and Blast. Both Phoenix Man and the Hero Association compare Elder Centipede to natural catastrophic disasters. His power is proven when he was able to easily handle three S-Class level opponents in Genos, Bang, and Bomb; with Phoenix Man claiming the only result of such a fight being complete slaughter for the heroes. This assessment almost came true if it weren't for King's and Saitama's intervention.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: As a Dragon-level threat and plus his enormous size, Elder Centipede possessed immense strength. He was able to level an entire city just by passing through it and tunnel through the ground with ease. He was able to knock Metal Bat hundreds of feet into the air and across the city. In addition, Elder Centipede was also strong enough to simultaneously push back Bang and Bomb with a tackle and easily cut Genos in half with his mandibles.

Immense Speed: Elder Centipede was able to maneuver across a whole city with ease. He also had the ability to dig under the ground at high speeds. His reaction time was also impressive as he managed to turn his head to the side in time to block Metal Bat's swing with his carapace shell. Elder Centipede was even fast enough to intercept one of Genos's blasts after it was already fired into the sky.

Immense Durability: Elder Centipede's unprotected face was able to survive multiple direct hits by Metal Bat, although he did show signs of pain. Elder Centipede took severe damage from the combination attacks from Bang and Bomb that damaged his outer body and Genos's heat blast from within that incinerated his insides but still did not go down completely. His teeth alone were shown to be extremely durable as well, as Genos barely managed to break through one of them with Jet Drive Arrow, one of his strongest physical attacks, and even exerted a lot of energy into that powerful attack.

Immense Endurance: Elder Centipede possessed incredible endurance, being able to easily fight off multiple S-Class heroes with ease while enduring their attacks without much damage. He was able to continue fighting even after taking severe damage from Bang, Bomb, and Genos in rapid succession along with recovering from such damage in seconds. Only Saitama's punch which completely disintegrated his body stopped him altogether. Both his carapace armor and regeneration may influence this factor of him.

Regeneration: Elder Centipede was capable of regenerating from an extreme amount of damage, such as regrowing his teeth, eyes, and even being able to recover from having his insides completely incinerated, very quickly. However, if his entire body is completely destroyed, he will not be able to regenerate, as seen when he was obliterated by Saitama's Serious Punch.

Acidic Digestive Fluids: Elder Centipede's insides are coated with extremely corrosive digestive fluids that would even melt the cybernetic body of Genos if he stayed in contact with them for too long.

Molting (脱皮, Dappi): Every time he shed his outer shell, Elder Centipede grew bigger and stronger than he was before alongside gaining another face.

Fighting Style

Mass Destruction: Elder Centipede used his size to cause catastrophic destruction, being compared by the Hero Association to a "natural disaster."

Transportation: Due to his sheer size, movement speed and ability to tunnel underground, Elder Centipede was used as a form of transportation for smaller monsters.

G4 - One Punch Man

G4 (G4, Gī Fō) was a Machine God battle robot created by The Organization. It was destroyed by Genos.

Appearance

G4 was a very large and chunky humanoid robot. Its gear was lavishly decorated with shiny ornaments and plating, and it even wore a royal fur cape and a crown. G4's true form was a smaller robot with black plating and rounder features.

Personality

G4 was a robot, so it had no qualms about attacking King, even with the hero's reputation as the strongest man on Earth.

Abilities and Powers

As a Demon-level threat and a "machine god" robot from The Organization, G4 was very powerful, proving itself strong enough to engage S-Class heroes in a difficult, even if ultimately unsuccessful, battle. Notably, it was able to seriously damage an upgraded Genos, who, at that point, was already capable of defeating Mosquito Girl and a hydrated Deep Sea King with relative ease.

Robotic Abilities

Immense Strength: G4's robotic body parts were easily capable of breaking steel and shattering concrete.

Integrated Weaponry: G4 had a variety of military-grade weaponry on its body.

Back Thrusters: G4 was also equipped with back thrusts that allow him to maneuver around.

Laser Beams: G4 had laser beams that allow him to precisely attack targets.

Fighting Style

Robotic Combatant: Being a robot, G4 relied on his strength and inbuilt weapons.

G Hammer (Gハンマー, G Hanmā): A powerful punch at his opponent.

Marugori - One Punch Man

Marugori (マルゴリ, Marugori), also called Beefcake, was a human who drank the Biceps Brachii King steroid developed by Fukegao, which turned him into a mutated giant. He was killed by Saitama.

Appearance

As a human, Marugori was depicted as a buff young man, with a large torso and muscular arms. He had sharp eyes and a shaved head. He wore a simple tank top and plain jeans. These clothes were ripped off when he transformed into a Mysterious Being. When transforming, his veins were popping, muscles expanding and his size grew incredibly. As a giant, he resembled a giant human body without skin, steaming, with a white, bone-like armor covering his enormous muscles. Most of his skeleton and muscle tissue became visible, including his tendons. He also grew two tubes, protruding from his chest and running over his shoulders to his back.

Personality

Marugori was a very straightforward individual who was loyal to his brother and had a strong desire to become stronger. Despite the callousness he displayed while murdering thousands of people, he was truly saddened and enraged by the loss of his brother.

Abilities and Powers

After taking the drug Biceps Brachii King, Marugori gained massive strength and size, becoming one of the largest monsters in the series. Marugori was classified as a Demon-level threat and would have been upgraded to Dragon if it were not for Saitama stopping him.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: Due to his massive size after mutating into a giant, Marugori possessed enormous physical strength. This was demonstrated when he generated powerful shockwaves from one of his blows to cause massive damage to an entire city. He also wielded outstanding leg strength, shown when he was able to create a large crater by stomping at the ground. The hole he created by punching Saitama was 100 meters wide.

Enhanced Speed: Despite his size, Marugori was able to deliver high-speed combos in a matter of seconds.

Fighting Style

Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Marugori appeared to only rely on his brute strength and colossal size after taking the Biceps Brachii King from his older brother, meaning he had no real martial arts experience or fighting technique.

Carnage Kabuto - One Punch Man

Carnage Kabuto (阿修羅カブト, Ashura Kabuto) was an artificial mutant created by Dr. Genus and the strongest creation of the House of Evolution. He was killed by Saitama.

Appearance

Carnage Kabuto was a massive being, towering over both Saitama and Genos. He was humanoid, but his body had many characteristics resembling a rhinoceros beetle, including a thick exoskeleton, a pair of wings encased by elytra, and a large horn on his head, similar to that of a rhinoceros beetle. He had huge spikes on his arms and legs. His body was mostly brown in color.

In Carnage Mode, Carnage Kabuto's body grew larger, he shed his carapace, increased the size of his muscles and also grew a larger and sharp horn. His entire body turned from brown to purple and green in color with his eyes turning all red and all of his teeth becoming sharp. He adopted a more humanoid appearance in this state.

Personality

Carnage Kabuto was an extremely mentally unstable being. Although he was extremely intelligent, his insatiable thirst for blood prompted Dr. Genus to lock him away deep underground. He considered himself far superior to humans, calling himself the 'new human' that Dr. Genus was looking for, and believed that all should submit to him. He was very sarcastic, ill-tempered, and lacked humanity, which Dr. Genus considered to have been his main flaw.

Carnage Kabuto also had an impressive natural survival instinct, which alerted him of Saitama's strength and quickly jumped away, which surprised Dr. Genus. He showed great fear of Saitama for a while, though upon hearing his lame backstory, Kabuto's headstrong nature ultimately won out and he attacked anyways.

Abilities and Powers

Being the strongest warrior of the House of Evolution and a Dragon-level threat, Carnage Kabuto boasted tremendous speed and physical strength. He was shown to be strong enough to defeat Genos easily, repelling his power blast with just a forceful breath. He was also said to be highly intelligent, but his unstable personality caused Dr. Genus to dub him a failure. Prior to fighting Gouketsu, Genos considered Carnage Kabuto the strongest opponent he ever faced. According to the VGS, Carnage Kabuto was able to defeat many A-Class and S-Class heroes; he defeated Sneck in 2.52 seconds, and Metal Bat in around 3 minutes, although Metal Bat claims the VGS did not properly simulate his fighting spirit, and Kabuto effortlessly thrashed Genos in only two hits despite the cyborg being already upgraded after the fight with Deep Sea King. However, he was defeated by Superalloy Darkshine even in Carnage Mode after 15 minutes.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: Being a Dragon-level threat, Carnage Kabuto possessed immense strength, able to badly damage Genos with little effort. He was also able to destroy a great deal of the fighting room and hold his own against an all-out Superalloy Darkshine for 15 minutes while in Carnage Mode.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Despite his enormous size, Carnage Kabuto boasted exceptional speed, as he was able to move at the speed that surprised Genos and landed multiple punches on Saitama in a short amount of time. In the VGS, Carnage Kabuto was also fast enough to quickly defeat Genos in two hits without the cyborg hero being able to properly counter.

Immense Durability: Carnage Kabuto possessed immense durability, as seen when multiple clones of Dr. Genus shot him with automatic rifles and he remained totally unfazed by this. He was capable of withstanding Genos' fire attacks and his Machine Gun Blow technique without a scratch. Additionally, Carnage Kabuto managed to last 15 minutes against a fully powered Darkshine, a very powerful S-Class hero.

Immense Stamina: Carnage Kabuto possessed superhuman stamina. After transforming into Carnage Mode, he lost control, going berserk and rampaging for one week straight before finally running out of stamina.

Flight: Carnage Kabuto has wings hidden beneath his sturdy shell and used them to fly away from Saitama in fear.

Keen Instincts: Thanks to his instincts, Carnage Kabuto was able to sense the strength and threat of his opponents. This proves useful to him when he senses Saitama's power and stalls his death a while longer.

Fighting Style

Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Carnage Kabuto was the strongest specimen of the House of Evolution.

Boros - One Punch Man

Boros (ボロス, Borosu), also called Lord Boros (ボロス様, Borosu-sama) by his subordinates, was the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, a group of alien invaders responsible for the destruction of A-City. Like Saitama, Boros faced a self-imposed existential crisis, having become so powerful that no battle thrilled him. His intergalactic travels in search of a worthy opponent led him to Earth, where he was killed by Saitama.

Boros is the main antagonist of the Alien Conquerors Arc.

Appearance

Boros was a very tall cyclops-like alien with light-pink, spiky hair and bangs that fell over his face. He had sharp teeth and pointed ears lined with a row of gold earrings (silver in the animated adaptation). He had one large blue eye and light blue skin with dark blue crack-shaped markings that started from his eye and covered most of his body. He wore a set of armor with spikes on the shoulder and forearms and wore a pair of matching curved boots. In the manga, his skin in his sealed form was purple with darker purple stripes on his face. He also had a red orb on his chest with purple markings on his stomach and arms. He wore a pair of white harem pants, held by a magenta-colored sash with silver-lined purple blades hanging from it.

After Saitama destroyed his armor, Boros's appearance changed into a second transformation. His muscle mass increased, and his body grew spiky plates and his spine and the surrounding tissue became exposed, while his skin changed to a navy blue color with light blue markings that emitted energy. He was shown with an additional yellow eye under his chest which moved in sync with his original, now yellowish-green eye and his hair was completely spiked up becoming slightly darker in color.

In his Meteoric Burst form, his appearance changed drastically. His hair grew, reaching his back, his eye became completely white, though at times a black pupil became visible, and his body got engulfed in white energy, while his markings returned to their original, dark blue color.

Personality

Because of his incredible power, Boros was both arrogant and prideful. Due to his love of battles and his inability to find an opponent who has been able to match him in power, he roamed the universe looking for worthy opponents that would be able to stand against him. He was also extremely callous, indifferent to the destruction and loss of life his invasion caused to A-City, and the destruction of his ship and the death of most of his crew while fighting Saitama. He did show a certain amount of courtesy and respect, reassuring Geryuganshoop when he was concerned about the ship, greeting and exchanging names with Saitama when he arrived and showed increasing amounts of respect to Saitama as their fight wore on and he continued to survive Boros's attacks. After being defeated, he seemed to be at peace with his imminent death, discounting the prophecy, but still satisfied that his fight with Saitama had been as exciting as he desired it to be, even if he was not victorious.

In battle, he was shown to have a very cautious and serious behavior, attempting to end fights quickly and make sure his opponent doesn't have any chance to surprise him.

Abilities and Powers

As the leader of the invading force of aliens, Boros had authority over the entire armada, his rule being absolute while being extremely powerful in his own right. According to Boros, his species developed the greatest regenerative ability in the entire universe to adapt to living on their home planet, which had harsh climates. Boros also appeared to be able to sense peoples' energy, which manifested itself as an aura around said person. Boros was the first on-screen opponent that survived a normal punch from Saitama, a notable feat considering all of the previous disasters had been obliterated, while Boros simply had his armor destroyed by the first punch.

Furthermore, he was also impressive enough for Saitama to remark that the hero was "almost in a real fight". In his fight with Saitama, Boros was hit with 3 normal punches, a Consecutive Normal Punches attack, as well as the shockwave from the hero's Serious Punch. His might was acknowledged by Saitama, who regarded him as a powerful opponent and even the strongest foe the hero had ever faced up to that point.

Physical Abilities

Boros was gifted with superpowers from birth, which vastly increased his powers with time and experience. He claimed that he, in particular, possessed regeneration, physical prowess, and latent energy that far surpassed all other members of his race.

Immense Strength: Boros has displayed extreme amounts of physical strength during his fight against Saitama. He was able to knock Saitama through several pillars of his ship with only a single punch, with the alien's various strikes easily damaging the place. He was also capable of busting through the outer hull of his spaceship with apparent ease, the same hull that was durable enough to even withstand the immense impact caused by Saitama leaping on it all the way from the Moon, with the jump being powerful enough to leave a massively huge crater on the natural satellite.

Immense Durability: Boros was shown to be amazingly resilient, to the point of being the first on-screen opponent of Saitama to survive after being hit directly by his normal punch, despite having his full power sealed by his armor, mildly surprising the hero. Even after receiving a direct punch from Saitama in his Meteoric Burst form, he remained intact, albeit was bleeding and injured.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Boros possessed incredible speed and agility, as he was able to keep up with a suppressed Saitama. He used the latent energy shunted from his body as a means of propulsion, making him incredibly fast. Even at high speeds, Boros was very agile. Even inside the ship, the two were so fast that normal human eyes would have been unable to follow their fight.

Immense Endurance: Boros had incredible endurance. Despite having his arm torn off by Saitama's punch, he showed no signs of pain. After completely exhausting all of his energy using his final move and having his entire body nearly obliterated by the shockwave from Saitama's Serious Punch, without being able to regenerate, Boros was still able to stay conscious and briefly talk with the hero before finally passing away.

Regeneration: Like the rest of his race, Boros had an incredible rate of regeneration, with Boros himself surpassing all others of his race as stated before. Boros had been shown to regrow an arm in seconds just by concentrating his energy on it. When struck by Saitama's Consecutive Normal Punches, he was blown apart but was able to regenerate his whole body in an instant. However, Boros' regeneration ability had a limit, as it showed in the end, he lost to Saitama and was unable to regenerate again after being struck by Saitama's Serious Punch as he had already used up all his energy.

Energy Projection: Boros could use the latent energy that his body produced to fire large energy blasts from the eye in his chest with great destructive power, enough to incinerate parts of the highly durable spaceship. These energy attacks have huge area of effect, as the one used against Saitama was shown spreading flames across the top of the gigantic spaceship when exploded He also combined his energy projection with his physical attacks, resulting in shockwaves and blasts capable of destroying city-sized areas. According to Boros himself, the resulting blasts were so powerful that small fries would find even their bones vaporized instantly.

Power Release (パワー解放, Pawā kaihō): Boros wore an ornate suit of armor that was designed to keep his immense powers in check. When the armor was removed from his body, it became black and spiky and began to glow from the released energy. Boros praised Saitama for being the first to last as long against his power in that state, suggesting that even in that form, Boros was immensely powerful compared to other enemies.

Fighting Style

Highly Experienced Combatant: Boros was presumably a skilled fighter with decades of experience and not a single loss in combat.

Deep Sea King - One Punch Man

The Deep Sea King (深海王, Shinkaiō) was the ruler of the Seafolk. He was killed by Saitama.

He is the main antagonist of the Sea Monster Arc.

Appearance

In his dry form, the Deep Sea King was the most humanoid of all the Seafolk. He was a large, muscular being with dark-green skin on his arms, legs, and back and light skin on his chest and abdomen. He had sharp eyes, large fangs, and fins protruding from either side of his head. In place of eyebrows were small pink ovals. His attire consisted of a red speedo, an ornate crown, and a large fur-trimmed cape fastened in front with a fish-head-shaped clasp. He had heart nipples.

The Deep Sea King's hydrated form was much larger and imposing. He developed a dorsal fin running the length of his back and grew fins on his forearms and shoulders, and the fins on the side of his face grew larger. His skin turned aquamarine, and his face lost its humanoid appearance and became larger and more monstrous.

Personality

The Deep Sea King was a sadistic individual who enjoyed starting fights and inflicting pain upon others. He was determined to take the earth's surface for himself to rule. He regarded people as little more than food and had no qualms about treating them as such. He was also very arrogant and prideful, considering himself to be a superior being that stood atop the pyramid that consists of every living organism on the planet.

Abilities and Powers

The Deep Sea King was a very powerful Mysterious Being, able to fight on par with and defeat a few S-Class heroes, albeit low-ranked ones. Puri-Puri Prisoner, the lowest-ranked S-Class Hero, was no match for the Sea King. However, according to the VGS (Virtual Genocide System), Deep Sea King in the rain would be defeated in two attacks by Genos who has upgraded himself after his defeat against the Sea King. Additionally, after his training, Puri-Puri Prisoner could eliminate a monster as strong as Deep Sea King with a single string of punches with killing intent behind them, while Superalloy Darkshine can destroy a monster as strong as Deep Sea King with just a light touch. Zombieman, however, would've had trouble in defeating a monster like him. The Deep Sea King is on the same level as the Subterranean King and the Sky King.

Physical Abilities

Water Empowerment: When his body is hydrated enough, Deep Sea King changes to his "natural form" (真の姿, Shin No Sugata). In this form, he is much larger and more monstrous. However, certain attacks (like those delivered by Genos) or long periods of dryness cause him to exit this form.

Immense Strength: The Deep Sea King boasts an extreme amount of strength seen as how he was able to dispatch two A-Class heroes with minimum effort. In his weakened state, he is able to greatly damage and send Puri-Puri Prisoner, an S-Class hero, flying towards a building a great distance away. He was even able to tear apart Genos's cybernetic body. However, in his dry form, he was unable to land any decisive blows on Genos, despite the hero only having one arm, until he used his acid spit.

Body Moray (体内ウツボ, Tainai Utsubo): He can release a long eel-like creature from his mouth that he can use to bite and tear into opponents with. According to the Deep Sea King, the creature will not go away once it latches onto his enemies. Its full capabilities are unknown, and its maximum length is also unknown.

Immense Durability: The Deep Sea King has incredible physical might, being able to easily withstand the attacks of several heroes ranging from C-Class to S-Class with little damage, despite them occurring one after another with little rest in between. In his dry state, he is able to tank the powerful strikes of the S-Class Hero, Puri-Puri Prisoner, head on without taking much visible damage, alongside the attacks of Speed-o'-Sound Sonic (an S-Class Villain) and the S-Class hero, Genos. Even after having his Moray cut off, he showed no visible signs of pain.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: The Deep Sea King boasts an exceptional amount of raw speed, seen when he was able to appear behind Lightning Max instantaneously, catching the A-Class hero off-guard and struck Stinger (another A-Class Hero) before the latter could react. However, he was shown to be outmatched against Sonic in terms of speed and could not land a proper hit on the ninja until he entered his true form. Along with this, his dry form was shown to be about on par, if not slightly below, the level of Genos.

Regeneration: While shown to be highly resistant to attacks, the Deep Sea King is capable of recovering from his injuries at an extreme rate, as seen when an injury he received from Genos, an S-Class hero, healed while they were still fighting. However, this ability does have limits, as a powerful blow can kill him before he has the chance to regenerate.

Acid Spit (溶解液, Yōkai-eki): The Deep Sea King could shoot acidic spit from his mouth. It was able to melt Genos's metallic body almost completely. The spit is a lysis solution that also breaks down the membrane of cells.

Enhanced Senses: Deep Sea King appeared to be able to sense people's presence in every direction, even if distant.

Fighting Style

Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: The Deep Sea King was shown to be a very skilled combatant capable of defeating two S-Class heroes, and seemed to have lots of combat experience, as seen when he lectured Puri-Puri Prisoner on how to fight properly, by putting much more effort into attacking an opponent with more intent to kill. He also seemed to have a preference for combo attacks, attacking his opponents mostly with a barrage of punches.

Hellfire Flame - One Punch Man

Hellfire Flame (業火のフレイム, Gōka no Fureimu) is a ninja from the Ninja Village. He is from the 37th graduating class like Gale Wind. He and Gale Wind joined the Monster Association sometime in the past to rule the world. He is a candidate for being an executive member of the Monster Association.

Appearance

Hellfire Flame is a tall man with a muscular build who styles his black hair into spikes with the tips bending down. His face is angular, with thick eyebrows, and he has a black marking over his left eye.

Hellfire Flames attire consists of a sleeveless black shirt and pants, a white vest with a spiked collar and flame design, black arm warmers, and braces on his forearm and neck.

When he transforms into a monster, his teeth become sharp and he has pulsating veins. His hands also have sharp claws and his entire body is imbued with burning flames.

After he's sliced in half by Flashy Flash, revived by Phoenix Man and resuscitated by Child Emperor's Gigavolt Smash he has noticeable horizontal scars across his chest and arms.

Personality

Hellfire Flame is shown to be calm and serious most of the time. He also seems to go along to what Gale Wind tells him. He holds a grudge against Flashy Flash for causing the 44th Graduation Class incident known as "The End”.

When he was on the verge of death, he revealed that being ninjas, they were forced to work in the shadows and were treated as tools instead of people, and the true reason they became monsters was that they wanted to be on the side of plunderers and rulers for once in their lives, actually shedding tears as he passed away.

As a graduated ninja of Sonic's village, he is shown to be a very powerful speedster like his partner, Gale Wind. Coming from the "Golden" 37th class of the village, he's likely even more skilled than other ninjas from The Village, possessing S-Class skills. Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind display excellent teamwork skills and cover for each other in battle. Although Hellfire Flame is classified as Demon in his human form, his monster form takes on the classification of Dragon, drastically increasing his already immense speed and pressuring the likes of Flashy Flash. He was also a cadre candidate.

Supernatural Abilities

Fire Manipulation: Hellfire Flame has an extremely potent hot touch, with which he is able to ignite nearby objects. He can create flames around his fists.

Physical Abilities

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Being from a ninja village, Hellfire Flame has superhuman speed and reflexes, much like Speed-o'-Sound Sonic. He and Gale Wind were able to surround Sonic and strike the younger ninja continuously in a barrage quicker than the eye could see.

Immense Strength: Hellfire Flame is capable of destroying concrete with minimal effort. Additionally, the shockwaves produced by the battle between the two ninja monsters and Flashy Flash were powerful enough to destroy the large ravine they were fighting in.

Immense Durability: Hellfire Flame appears to be quite durable, as he managed to withstand Brave Giant's Gigavolt Smash that vaporized the bodies of Subterranean People. He was also able to take a barrage of kicks from Flashy Flash, a very powerful S-Class hero, while sustaining seemingly little damage, only being defeated by the hero's ultimate technique.

Transformation: Hellfire Flame can change into his monster form and revert back to his human form freely. According to him, people who can fully control their bodies will be able to retain their human form.[20] As a powerful ninja, he has excellent control over his body, although it is stated by Flashy Flash that they still lack full control in holding back their power due to becoming monsters recently.

Fighting Style

Master Ninja: As a graduate of the ninja village Sonic hails from, Hellfire Flame is skilled and masterful in ninjutsu. Having graduated from the "Golden Class" that is renowned as the best the village has produced, Hellfire Flame is without a doubt a greater and more powerful ninja than Sonic.

Equipment

Katana: Hellfire Flame wields a katana with a white hilt and a square cross-guard. He is a proficient wielder of a sword and can ignite it on fire. The flames can shoot small fireballs.

Gale Wind - One Punch Man

Gale Wind (疾風のウィンド, Shippū no Windo; Viz: Tempest Wind) is a ninja from the Ninja Village. He is from the 37th graduating class like Hellfire Flame. He and Hellfire Flame joined the Monster Association sometime in the past to rule the world. He is a candidate for being an executive member of the Monster Association.

Appearance

Gale Wind is a tall man with a muscular physique and long, wavy light-colored hair and has a marking under his right eye.

His attire consists of a tight-fitting shirt, white hakama pants with black trimming, white sash and black arm warmers. Gale Wind also has metal bands around his biceps and neck.

When he transforms into a monster, his teeth become sharp, his skin gains black markings and his eyes begin to twist like a lizard. His hair stands on end and his scalp sprouts arachnid-like limbs.

After he's sliced in half by Flashy Flash, revived by Phoenix Man and resuscitated by Child Emperor's Gigavolt Smash he has noticeable horizontal scars across his chest and arms.

Personality

Gale Wind is shown to be quite sadistic, but playful and polite toward his opponent. He is a strong believer in the superiority of monsters over humans, so he chose to join the Monster Association to rule the world. He holds a grudge against Flashy Flash for causing the 44th graduation class incident known as "The End”, calling him a criminal. Despite this, he does view Flashy Flash as worth the kill, and openly admired Flashy Flash's impressive speed.

Gale Wind is also very prideful and arrogant as when inviting Sonic to join the Monster Association. Gale Wind stated that Sonic would make a good foot soldier to increase the chances of killing Flashy Flash probably because Sonic is from the 44th class of their ninja village that is known as the end class.

Gale Wind is largely disinterested in running the Monster Association, only using them as a means to an end. He dismisses the heroes as inconsequential and believes only those who learned the same ninja techniques can compete with him.

Abilities and Powers

Gale Wind comes from the same ninja village as Sonic and is a graduated ninja, so he is a very strong and skilled warrior. As Gale Wind graduated among the "Golden" 37th class of the village, he is shown to be more powerful than Sonic and thus could qualify for the rank of S-Class in the Hero Association if he didn't become a monster. Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame display excellent teamwork skills and cover for each other in battle. Although Gale Wind is classified as Demon in his human form, his monster form takes on the classification of Dragon, drastically increasing his already immense speed and pressuring the likes of Flashy Flash. He was also a cadre candidate.

Physical Abilities

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Much like Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, Gale Wind is shown to have superhuman speed and reflexes, as he demonstrates his speed to the latter, who could not even see him. Alongside Hellfire Flame, Gale Wind was able to surround and strike Sonic in an incredibly fast barrage.

Immense Strength: Gale Wind is capable of destroying concrete with minimal effort. Additionally, during his fight with Flashy Flash, the shockwaves produced by their battle was enough to fracture the rocks around them to the point that the entire ravine is destroyed after their battle.

Immense Durability: Gale Wind appears to be quite durable, as he managed to withstand Brave Giant's Gigavolt Smash that vaporized the bodies of Subterranean People. He was also able to take a barrage of kicks from Flashy Flash, a very powerful S-Class hero, while sustaining seemingly little damage, only being defeated by the hero's ultimate technique.

Transformation: Gale Wind can change into his monster form and revert back to his human form freely. According to his partner, Hellfire Flame, he achieved this through ninjutsu training. However, Flashy Flash noted that they still weren't able to hold back their true power due to them only becoming monsters recently, showing that he and Hellfire Flame don't have complete control over their transformations.

Fighting Style

Master Ninja: As a graduate of the ninja village that Sonic hails from, Gale Wind is no doubt a skilled and powerful warrior in the art of ninjutsu. Since he is of the 37th class which is considered the "Golden Class" that consists of the best the village has ever produced, Gale Wind is perhaps among their greatest, similar to Hellfire Flame.

Equipment

Twin Kukri Knives: Gale Wind utilizes a pair of Kukri knives as his primary weapon.

Razor Wire: Gale Wind is seen using razor-sharp steel wire to entangle opponents and slice them into pieces.

Watchdog Man - One Punch Man

Watchdog Man (番犬マン Banken-man) is the S-Class Rank 12 professional hero of the Hero Association. He is in charge of Q-City.

Appearance

Watchdog Man is a young-looking man with a blank and uninterested look on his face. He dresses in a full-body dog suit with a red collar, with his face showing where the dog's mouth should be.

Personality

Watchdog Man has been shown to be very blunt and nonchalant, and he always displays a stoic and unbothered expression on his face. He also has a habit of wearing his costume all the time, even keeping it on when he bathes. His table manners are also bad since he eats like a dog and is never seen using a fork or spoon. He acts like a dog at all times, speaking sparingly, sitting on his haunches while alert or loitering, and curling up in a dog bed while asleep. He takes a stance on all fours while fighting, rather than standing upright to confront enemies.

Like a loyal and well-trained dog, he is solely interested in protecting his territory. Though he solely performs his hero duties there in Q-City, he relentlessly hunts down and dispatches any mysterious beings there, ripping them apart as quickly and savagely as he's able. He often piles up and perches atop the corpses of the mysterious beings that he kills.

Though willing to brutalize human attackers, he notably holds back and does not go for the kill, instead beating Garou down until he escaped Q-City's limits. He can be rather impish when fighting human criminals, as seen when he counters Garou by "shaking" his attacking hands.

His expression is constantly deadpan, making him difficult to read. Similar to Saitama, he's also very prone to boredom, as seen when he's unimpressed with Bang's Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist during a sparring match between Bang and Metal Bat at Bang's dojo, and decides to go back to Q-City to fight monsters.

Abilities and Powers

As an S-Class hero, Watchdog Man is very powerful. A testament to his prowess is that he was left in charge of Q-City, which is considered to be the most dangerous city in terms of number and average disaster level of Mysterious Beings. He is also described to eliminate monsters like no other. In his early days as a hero, he managed to rip off the head of an enormous monster without incurring an injury. Watchdog Man is also strong enough to defeat Garou effortlessly without using his full strength. He has never lost a fight against monsters before, and is respected and feared by heroes and villains alike.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: Watchdog Man possesses an extreme amount of raw physical strength, being able to easily rip apart multiple monsters far larger than himself with his bare paws. He was also strong enough to severely wound Garou while holding back.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Watchdog Man is extremely fast, being able to rip apart multiple monsters within a few seconds. Despite being surrounded by 30 monsters of Monster Association at the same time, Watchdog Man managed to quickly defeat all of them and come out of the battle without a scratch, surprising Garou, who was watching the fight. Furthermore, he was capable of easily keeping up with and blocking all attacks from Garou during their fight and retaliated at the speed that the Hero Hunter was unable to counter. Garou himself even commented that Watchdog Man's speed far exceeded his expectations.

Immense Agility: Having excellent physical prowess, Watchdog Man is incredibly athletic and moves in a way that resembles that of a savage animal during combat. He is able to climb from one place to another, which makes it hard to follow his movements. Furthermore, his amazing speed and reflexes also grant him the balance to match his unpredictable attacks.

Dog Attributes: Watchdog Man possesses characteristics usually associated with dogs. He has an absolute sense of smell and hearing. His senses allow him to instantly detect any monster who enters his domain. He noticed someone farted during a meeting when none of the other S-Class heroes noticed.

Fighting Style

Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Watchdog Man's fighting style was described by Garou as that of a beast or a monster rather than a human. It is also noted by Garou that Watchdog Man lacks any special techniques or weapons, relying only on simple hand-to-hand combat, very much like Saitama. However, his skills are demonstrated to be rather powerful, being able to counter Garou's martial arts techniques, including his Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. Because of Garou's techniques are designed to be used against human targets, not animals, as well as the fact that Bang didn't teach him how to fight non-humanoid opponents, Watchdog Man can counter all of the Hero Hunter's movements perfectly. When Watchdog Man countered Garou's attacks, his blocking resembled the dog-like behavior of giving his paw for a handshake.

Blast - One Punch Man

Blast (ブラスト, Burasuto) is the S-Class Rank 1 professional hero of the Hero Association. Outside of Saitama, he is the Hero Association's most powerful hero. He currently appears to be going to various places in order to collect the Mysterious Cubes, which is a hobby of his. Only a few select Hero Association staff members have the means to communicate with him.

Appearance

Blast is a tall man with a very muscular build, spiky gray hair, and a slight beard. He wears bulky armor with large shoulder pads, a large cape worn out at the bottom, and emblems of his name on his chest and the backs of his shoes. His gloves have circles on the back of his fists, which form an infinity symbol when he presses them together to teleport. His suit has mild damage, presumably sustained from his many battles. He also wears shades and has a scar running across his face between his eyes. The outline of his iris is a wavy black pattern, as opposed to just a consistent outline seen in other characters.

In the past, Blast's appearance was largely similar to today, but he looked younger, with darker hair and no beard. Additionally, neither his armor nor himself had sustained damage or injuries, and he did not wear shades.

Personality

Blast does not disclose his personal information in the Hero Association Catalog. However; akin to Saitama, he considers his hero work as just a hobby. He also seems to have independent tendencies, keeping his location and status unknown, and advising Tatsumaki to use her own powers to defend herself rather than expecting others to save her.

In the present, Blast has a casual and easygoing attitude as he did not seem to be very bothered by Saitama, Flashy Flash, and Manako touching the cube since they didn't know what it was nor did they accept the deal, and he was willing to explain what the cube was. Blast was also not angered by the fact that Flashy Flash tried to attack him, simply telling him to calm down, and he was willing to teleport all of them out of the area they were in. Blast did not question the presence of Saitama with an S-Class hero and even answered Saitama's question about him warping there; however, he became momentarily serious with the presence of Manako with them since she is a monster. After Saitama's explanation, he quickly went back to his easygoing attitude and accepted the explanation with no further questions.

Blast seems to not be completely out of touch with other heroes, as he recognized Bang, addressing the elder martial artist by his hero alias, as well as recognizing Flashy Flash and knowing his exact ranking upon meeting him. He also requested Flashy Flash and Saitama to send Sitch and Tatsumaki his regards.

Abilities and Powers

Being the highest-ranking hero of the Hero Association, Blast is the most powerful hero in the world excluding Saitama, and has demonstrated amazing combat prowess to justify his rank. He has proven capable of holding his own against Cosmic Fear Mode Garou, an extremely dangerous adversary who had received powers from "God" and previously matched a suppressed Saitama blow for blow in a collision of fists, causing the Hero Hunter to remark that he wasn't the top-ranking S-Class hero for nothing. As he wanted to get the unconscious heroes present to safety first as well as prevent collateral damage, it was also implied that Blast held back against Garou to an extent.

Fubuki mentions that Blast "sits atop the hero world" during her talk with Saitama in his apartment, putting Blast alongside King in terms of power. Sitch also mentions Blast would only present himself if humanity is in peril and that he is valuable enough to receive special treatment over the other heroes. Blast was able to bring Elder Centipede, a Dragon-level threat strong enough to combat the likes of Bang, Bomb, and Genos simultaneously, to the brink of death, although Elder Centipede was smaller and as such presumably weaker when he first fought Blast. Despite this, Gyoro Gyoro believed that Blast could still defeat the giant monster even in his current state.

Shortly before meeting Tatsumaki in the past, in just a few seconds, Blast effortlessly killed a giant monster that could smash through reinforced steel doors. Since the battle was offscreen, it's unknown how exactly he killed it, but the creature had a massive hole inside its torso. When Blast placed his hand on Tatsumaki's head, he saw a vision of Fubuki and was able to tell that she's her sister. Due to this, it is implied that he may have some sort of psychic or mind-reading ability.

In the databook, Fubuki speculates that Blast is stronger than King, can shoot lasers from his eyes and rules over psychic powers, and has the ability to command trillions of robots. She hypothesizes that he could beat the rest of the S-Class all at once.

Physical Abilities

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Blast possesses immense speed and reflexes and is one of the fastest individuals in existence. He was able to easily outpace Flashy Flash, an S-Class hero who is well-known for his extraordinary speed, dodging one of his fastest attacks from a very close distance and appearing behind him faster than he could even see.

Immense Strength: Blast possesses immense levels of physical strength, easily able to carry around the Mysterious Cube, even casually spinning it on his fingertip in a playful fashion.[9] Meanwhile, this cube is heavy enough to cause Flashy Flash's arm to get stuck under it, and sink into the ground upon being tossed away by Saitama.

Resistance to Radiation: Blast has strong resistance to radiation. He was capable of being in the vicinity of Cosmic Fear Mode Garou without being affected by the cosmic radiation the Hero Hunter emitted, despite the radiation being potent enough to quickly incapacitate almost all other heroes in the vicinity.

Supernatural Abilities

Cosmic Manipulation: Blast possesses the ability to manipulate cosmic energy, which he does so by generating portals that allows him to move through another dimension or transfer objects and even attacks. When he generates a portal that resembles a black hole to teleport himself, Flashy Flash, Saitama, and Manako, Blast clasps his fists together and an infinity symbol appears across his fists. During his fight with Garou, Blast creates multiple portals to transfer Garou's attacks that generate nuclear explosions to somewhere else.

Equipment

The Mysterious Cube: Blast was shown to hold a cube when having a conversation with Tatsumaki 18 years ago, and he later appears again to collect the cube touched by Saitama, Flashy Flash, and Manako. It is also revealed by him that there are multiple of these cubes in various places, and they act as sort of a transmitter to communicate with "God". The cubes are able to distort the space and time within its vicinity. Blast has been collecting these cubes as a "hobby" of his and teleports them to unknown locations.

Bang - One Punch Man

Bang (バング, Bangu), also known by his hero alias Silver Fang (シルバーファング, Shirubā Fangu), is a professional hero, a martial arts master, and the creator and teacher of Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. He is the 3rd highest ranked S-Class hero of the Hero Association and is recognized as one of its most powerful heroes. He is currently settled in Z-City. In his youth, he was nicknamed Wind of Blood (血の風, Chi no Kaze; Viz: BloodWind).

Bang and his brother, Bomb, are the two greatest masters of the martial arts world. He is currently trying to recruit new disciples into his dojo, with his main targets being Saitama and Genos. Bang is also part of the Saitama Group.

Appearance

Bang is an elderly man and walks with a slight hunch in his back. He has light blue eyes and tan skin. He has spike white hair, thick white eyebrows, and a thick white mustache. He wears a long-sleeved black martial arts jumpsuit, light-colored pants, and Tai Chi slippers. Despite his old age, his body is lean and very muscular, and it is covered in scars.

Personality

Bang appears to have a serious personality, however; his true personality is said to be surprisingly playful. His demeanor is normally calm, shown when he is seemingly unperturbed by the Dragon-level meteor falling on Z-City. Unlike most other heroes, Bang prefers to be called by his name rather than his hero alias "Silver Fang".

Bang is also well-grounded in the ethics of heroism; he accuses the other S-Class heroes of being heartless for ignoring the disaster in Z-City and attending to their own problems instead. Additionally, when witnessing Tanktop Black Hole accuse Saitama of causing the civilians' misery, Bang watches from a distance sympathetically, but without interruption, noting that heroes have to take responsibility for their actions, and will normally have to deal with the lack of appreciation for their work. Later, when his disciple Charanko confronts Saitama by praising his martial arts master's skill and hero rank, Bang scolds his disciple not to embarrass him and states outright that Saitama is many times stronger than he is.

He is also disgusted at the negative and unhealthy hero culture of the Hero Association; he reveals to Atomic Samurai in their fishing trip that the Hero Association has lost sight of its goal.

Perhaps due to losing all but one of his disciples to his former top disciple Garou (on top of his old age and his remaining disciple's incompetence), Bang is always eagerly looking for new disciples to succeed him. After stating that he would not want the meteorite to fall on Z-City as it would erase his dojo, Bang quickly demonstrates his Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, to Genos, only to realize that the cyborg had already left. Later, he invites Saitama and Genos to his dojo to try and recruit them to his dojo. His unyieldingness to protect the citizens/civilians can be said as strategic importance in the world of heroes. He has a sense of nobility and moral integrity, thus earning respect from the other heroes.

Bang cares deeply for his former disciple, Garou. He fears for Garou's fate of becoming a monster, a process that seems irreversible. When meeting him face-to-face once again, Bang shows utter contempt for his fallen student, spitting that he has become nothing more than an animal. During their final confrontation, Bang laments how far the young man has fallen, and resolves to bring him around, and train him truly again.

In his past, Bang was shown to be pompous, arrogant, and abrasive, very much like Garou. He would go around challenging fighters who appeared strong and constantly put them in the hospital in order to grow stronger and prove his talent. Whereas his current martial art style focused on self-defense and redirecting opponent's attacks, Bang's past martial art style was geared toward destructive power, a reflection of his violent nature. He believed that his power was meant solely for enjoying himself, and was willing to fight whoever it took to make himself stronger. His arrogance and malevolence grew to the point that he was fully intending on killing his older brother during their fight. However, after having been defeated by Bomb, he became humbled, focusing on developing his Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist as a defensive martial art and opening up a dojo to follow in his brother's footsteps. Nowadays, he seems to wish to leave his older self behind and forget it completely. This is shown in his fight with Garou, as when the Hero Hunter started using Exploding Heart Release Fist, his former martial art, Bang refused to use it, despite the fact that he was being forced into a corner and using it would give him an advantage.

Abilities and Powers

As the third-ranked S-Class hero, Bang is one of the most powerful heroes of the Hero Association. Even among the S-Class, his presence is exceptional. He is also an outstanding proficient martial artist and a capable martial arts teacher, having taught Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist to his former disciple Garou, who is also incredibly skilled in the art. Garou himself has also stated that Demon-level beings like Bug God and Royal Ripper are nothing compared to his former master. He is known as an idol and treasure of martial arts, almost being like a god in the martial arts world, and thus one of the most skilled and powerful martial artists in the world, despite the fact that he is past his physical prime. He and Superalloy Darkshine are considered the twin pillars of the hero world. Bang's combination of immense physical power and vast martial arts prowess makes him one of the most powerful close-range fighters in the Hero Association. His martial arts knowledge and experience enabled him to gain the upper hand against Superalloy Darkshine in a sparring match, despite the latter having greater physical prowess. His amazing strength was demonstrated again during his fight against Gums and Fuhrer Ugly, two Dragon-level Mysterious Beings, capable of kicking through the former and thrashing the latter without apparently much effort. Additionally, despite Garou's massive growth through many battles, and being even in his evolved state, Bang still has proved capable of fighting on equal footing with the formidable former disciple for a considerable amount of time before finally being defeated.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: Despite his old age, Bang possesses incredible physical strength, far beyond that of an average hero, even by S-Class standards. He has been shown to be able to destroy meteorite fragments with his bare hands.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Bang possesses impressive speed and reflexes, far beyond that of average heroes. He was able to follow the movements of extremely fast opponents and could not only outrun a falling spaceship but also all of the S-Class heroes present, such as Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, and Puri-Puri Prisoner.

Immense Durability: Bang is incredibly resilient. He was able to survive a direct hit from Melzargard that sent him crashing through several pieces of concrete debris without apparent injuries, the same attack blew off the A-Class hero Iaian's arm. After being forcibly thrown to the ground by Elder Centipede, Bang only sustained little damage. Elder Centipede's stomach acid, which damaged Genos's parts, left only minor marks on his skin.

Enhanced Stamina and Endurance: Bang possesses an amazing level of stamina. He is able to run a few dozen kilometers before getting winded, although his age has taken a toll on his stamina. Throughout the course of the battle against the Monster Association, Bang was able to proceed through several fights ranging from brief to long durations, such as against Overgrown Rover, Gums and Fuhrer Ugly, and hordes of Black Sperm clones.

Enhanced Senses: Bang's senses are far beyond the human norm. He was capable of sensing an evil presence inside of Garou that was influencing his disciple's behavior.

Fighting Style

Master Martial Artist: From decades of experience and training, Bang is one of the most powerful martial artists in the world. Bang possesses a vast knowledge of martial arts and, as a result, was able to create his own martial art. He is considered to be the "Greatest Treasure of Martial Arts". His Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist is much more efficient and precise than Garou’s, as Darkshine himself made the comparison after fighting the Hero Hunter, stating that compared to Bang, his technique was still far from perfect. Garou must make a conscious effort in order to use the techniques, but for Bang, it has become part of his very being. His mastery of martial arts was also displayed in a sparring match against a fellow S-Class hero, Superalloy Darkshine, whom Bang was able to avoid and deflect all attacks from, as well as during his clash against Fuhrer Ugly and Gums, two powerful Dragon-level threats, in which Bang was capable of skillfully deflecting all attacks from the former and redirecting them at either itself or towards Gums. In his fight with an evolved Garou, his own former disciple who is himself an extremely skillful fighter, despite the latter having drastically improved his combat skills through many battles, Bang was still capable of fighting him on equal footing in a contest of pure hand-to-hand combat, even gaining the upper hand at some point.

Flashy Flash - One Punch Man

Flashy Flash (閃光のフラッシュ, Senkō no Furasshu) is the S-Class Rank 13 professional hero of the Hero Association. He is a former member of the Ninja Village's 44th Graduation Class, nicknamed The End (終わり, Owari; Viz: The Final).

He is also one of the few people aware of Saitama's strength.

Appearance

Flashy Flash is a lean but muscular young man of average height with an androgynous appearance. He has sharp blue eyes and long ice-blonde hair with bangs brushed to the right side of his face. He wears a dark blue bodysuit with metallic bracers over his arms and upper chest armor with a long white cape over it. He adorns himself with two four-pointed stars on either side of his head and on his cape. He has a chain strapped around his waist that holds his sheath and sword in place.

Personality

Flashy Flash is a calm and serious man, immediately starting the topic of discussion at the meeting and stopping an argument between Tatsumaki and Metal Bat. He also appears to be quite arrogant, telling lower-ranked heroes to step aside and let him handle the Mysterious Being because he sees them as weak, berating them for potentially causing collateral damage. He is also very confident in his abilities.

Flashy Flash is one of the few heroes who doesn't fear Tatsumaki, talking back to her after she insulted him, stating that she stole his kill against the Hundred-Eyes Octopus, and even went as far as to say that she is not actually stronger than him.

He has a very firm mindset that training is one of the only ways to become truly strong, as he told Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame he only became as powerful as he was through training more than any other heroes or ninja. When the two monsters were dying, they asked Flashy Flash what it was that they were missing, and his response was their lack of training. In a sense, this is similar to Saitama, as he also believes training is the only way to become truly strong.

Despite his collected composure, Flashy Flash has a tendency to be hasty and reckless. His careless attack on Hundred-Eyes Octopus only made the beast cause more destruction, and he has other lapses in judgment such as losing his communicator during the Monster Association raid or attacking Saitama even after recognizing him as a hero. He is very proud of his speed and tends to lose his rigid composure when confronted with those with more speed than himself, such as being bewildered by Saitama's superior agility, and outright horrified by Blast's. This was further demonstrated during his battle with Platinum Sperm and Garou: upon realizing that both of them surpassed his speed, he became utterly infuriated that he'd encountered four individuals in one day who were faster than him, deeming it unforgivable and making him even more determined to win the fight. As noted by Platinum Sperm, when Flash encounters individuals who outclass him in his specialty of speed, he puts all of his effort into protecting his pride, though this also made him more vulnerable to attack and left him with several more openings.

While normally prideful and rude, he did compliment Saitama after witnessing his strength and speed. When he attacked Saitama under the suspicion of being a monster, he was stunned when Saitama avoided his first attack. Though he remembered who Saitama was, he wanted to confirm if he could actually dodge his attacks as his pride wouldn't allow such a thing, making him attack Saitama again, which was actually an unnecessary endangerment of his life.

However, he is incredibly respectful of those he deems strong and is more than willing to give praise to such individuals. An instance of this is when he and Saitama work together with a monster to find the Monster Association's inner sanctum. In a gold mine, he defends against a series of larger monsters' attacks. Unbeknownst to him, Saitama does so as well and keeps an equal pace to him. He is astounded and impressed by Saitama's strength, calling him "Pretty good."

Abilities and Powers

As an S-Class hero, Flashy Flash is very powerful. In terms of speed, he is arguably the fastest S-Class hero in the association, though he is inferior to Blast, the top-ranked S-Class hero. He is the former top ninja of the 44th graduating class of the village that Speed-o'-Sound Sonic hails from. Flashy Flash is also one of the few S-Class heroes capable of defeating multiple Dragon-level monsters singlehandedly, as demonstrated when he was able to defeat Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind, two powerful Dragon-level threats without suffering any serious injury or visible fatigue, although he needed to use his finishing move to eliminate them. According to Superalloy Darkshine, if Garou, even in his half-monster state, were to fight him, the Hero Hunter would most likely die before being able to show any of his techniques. Additionally, despite being at a disadvantage due to losing his main weapon, Flashy Flash was still capable of holding his own against Platinum Sperm and an evolved Garou for a short period of time, the former of which being the ultimate fusion of a powerful Dragon-level Mysterious Being, while the latter being strong enough to have defeated powerful S-Class heroes such as Superalloy Darkshine and Silver Fang.

Flashy Flash is also a very analytical fighter. He strategically waited for the right moment to incapacitate Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame simultaneously to prevent either from escaping, reasoning that the other heroes would have trouble with the ninjas' speed. He was also able to discern Saitama's physical attributes by analyzing the sound of his footsteps.

Physical Abilities

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Flashy Flash possesses incredible amount speed and reflexes, surpassing most other characters. He is said to kill enemies like a flash of light before they can even sense what happened.

Immense Strength: Flashy was shown to be strong enough to combat and defeat two Dragon-level threats simultaneously. He can deliver powerful kicks that can stun Dragon-level monsters. He can also easily cut massive pieces of stone and create giant explosions throughout his fighting. Additionally, the large crevice where he was battling Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame was completely destroyed as a result.

Immense Durability: Flashy Flash is shown to be very resilient. He was able to sustain numerous direct hits from two powerful Dragon-level monsters Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame at once without any serious damage, only coughing up small traces of blood. He was also able to withstand several blows from Platinum Sperm as well as an evolved Garou and still last for a short while.

Enhanced Senses: Flashy Flash was capable of estimating that Saitama's weight was around 70 kg just based on the footsteps, and also realized that his presence didn't match that of any member gathered there.

Fighting Style

Ninjutsu Master: Gale Wind noted that Flashy Flash's technical precision surpassed both his and Hellfire's. Flashy Flash also states that he has trained more than any other ninja from The Village.

Psykos - One Punch Man

Psykos (サイコス, Saikosu, Viz: Psychos) is an esper, the military advisor of the Monster Association, and a friend of Fubuki. She is one of the main antagonists of the Monster Association Arc.

Appearance

Psykos has a curvy figure with long aqua-blue wavy hair, emerald-green eyes and typically wears glasses.

Psykos's meat puppet Gyoro Gyoro appears as an obese slug-like monster with a single eye, with no visible facial orifice and eight arms protruding through it's head. It has four main arms, two stubby legs and three toes on each foot.

During high school, Psykos had braces, which made her mouth puckered. She also wore larger and rounder glasses and had freckles.

Personality

Equally as manipulative as she is cunning, Psykos also often schemes and plots around the other members of the Monster Association geared towards experimental needs. She played Rhino Wrestler for a fool by sending the lower-level monster against opponents he had no hope against during the heroes' invasion for scientific curiosity. Psykos is also quite arrogant, sadistic, and volatile.

She is also very mischievous, as she enjoys playing sadistic games with the Hero Association staff. Being very calculating, she takes into consideration the compatibility of each battle.

Although Psykos is highly intelligent, she has a superiority complex. Her confidence on being a powerful esper along with the fact that she is later even granted additional power by the supposed "God", causes her to belittle Tatsumaki and believe herself able to become the "ultimate lifeform."

Abilities and Powers

As the second-highest-ranking member of the Monster Association, Psykos has great authority over almost everyone and oversees the organization's operations and activities, and as a Dragon-level threat, she is an extremely powerful being. She is shown to be very powerful as an Esper, but not very skilled. Garou has commented that she cannot perform more than one action at the same time when using telekinesis. After merging with Orochi, her psychic power increases exponentially, allowing her to contend with Tatsumaki and seriously harm the esper, although Tatsumaki reveals she was holding back because Tareo's safety wasn't secured.

Supernatural Abilities

Psychokinesis: Psykos is a powerful esper. She can send out psychic signals to her colleagues from over great distances, as well as remotely control Gyoro Gyoro from 1500 meters underground. When her power is amplified by her Elixir, Psykos can break free of Tatsumaki's restraints and drag her down from a large distance even as she is being dragged herself upwards.

Energy Projection: Psykos can shoot powerful energy beams from her eyes.

Gravity Manipulation: While controlling Gyoro Gyoro, Psykos could manipulate gravity and use it to crush her enemies.

Spy Drones: Psykos created and could control several spy drones that are shaped in the image of Gyoro Gyoro and can communicate through them. These spy drones could possess wings to fly a great distance or be planted as stationary viewpoints like security cameras.

Telepathy (テレパシー, Terepashī): Psykos uses telepathy to communicate with others. She uses this, as Gyoro Gyoro, to tell Garou to wait while sorting out disputes among the monsters.

Miscellaneous Abilities

Monster Transformation Stimulation: Psykos claims that she can stimulate growth in humans and turn some of them into exceptionally powerful monsters, like in the case of Orochi. Gyoro Gyoro's method is unknown in detail, but it can be assumed to be similar to the phenomenon of abnormal cellular reactions that normally transform some humans into monsters, without the Monster Cell.

Keen Intellect: Psykos is a highly intelligent individual and has great authority over almost everyone and oversees the Monster Association's operations as well as its activities. She is able to analyze any individual's power and is the one responsible for evaluating the disaster level of the Monster Association's members. She was also able to measure Garou's exceptional potential after re-encountering him, unlike previous monsters who underestimated the Hero Hunter despite his feats. Additionally, based on battle compatibility, she was able to accurately predict which monsters that needed to be sent to face the heroes that could give perfect victories for the monster side, as shown when the S-Class heroes had severe trouble dealing with the executive members that they had encountered due to her correctly sending the heroes' worst possible match up to face them.

Fighting Style

Master Psychic Combatant: Psykos is a very powerful esper.

Super Gravity Waves (重力超激浪, Jūryoku Chōgekirō): Psykos multiplies the gravity around a certain area to crush her opponent. After merging with Orochi, her ability to multiply gravity increases to the point that even Tatsumaki struggles with the increased gravity.

Gravity Times 300 (重力300倍, Jūryoku 300-bai): Psykos increases the gravity of an area by 300 times.

Garou - One Punch Man

Garou (ガロウ, Garō; Viz: Garo) is a villain, a martial arts prodigy, the self-proclaimed "Hero Hunter," and a major adversary of the Hero Association and Monster Association. He is a former disciple of Bang but was expelled from his dojo for going on a rampage. Because of his fascination with monsters, he is commonly called the "Human Monster." Sitch of the Hero Association views him as a grave threat to the organization despite being only a human.

Appearance

Garou is a young man with sharp features, yellow eyes, and long silver hair that spikes upward in two large prongs, giving a feeling of a young wolf. He has a lean muscular build. He wears a tight, black, long-sleeved shirt, loose-fitting white martial arts pants, a yellow sash around his waist, and tai chi slippers on his feet.

As Garou fights further in the Human Monster Saga, his appearance becomes more monster-like over time. After being kicked by Saitama, he removes his shirt and wraps his upper body in bandages as he recovers. While fighting Genos, his right eye turns red and bloodshot, and his hair becomes red after he rubs his own blood into it.

Next, he is given a long-sleeved black shirt and tight black pants by the Monster Association. He retains a large diagonal scar across his face after being brutalized by Royal Ripper, and his right eye remains severely bloodshot. His clothes are torn and two strands of fabric flow behind him like scarves due to his encounter with Overgrown Rover, and after being defeated by Orochi his entire body is black with soot. The soot is blown off when Garou blocks Superalloy Darkshine's Superalloy Bazooka, and the force of the attack also shreds his remaining clothing into a spiral pattern around the hole Orochi put in his torso.

After his fight with Darkshine and the subsequent destruction of the Monster Association base, Garou begins transforming, with his hands turning into claws, his teeth transforming into fangs, and his skin hardening. When he emerges aboveground, Garou has hardened, armor-like skin and hair, razor-sharp claws, and glowing veins running along his body. His back also grows several holes that begin glowing a colour and his torn clothes are tied around his shoulders and waist as a makeshift cape. After his fight against Bang, Garou's left eye's armor is shattered as a result of his former master's final blow, exposing his eye in the left. As Garou's monsterization progresses through several other battles, his glowing veins become more bright and noticeable while his muscle mass seems to increase slightly. Later, when beaten by Saitama during their fight, Garou's body, in response to his rage, undergoes a mutation that greatly increases his size and stature. His jawline becomes sharper, his mouth becomes more pronounced and filled with razor-sharp teeth. The spikes on his body lengthen and multiply, with his overall appearance becoming much more monstrous and intimidating than previously. Soon later, when attempting to catch up to Saitama, Garou develops into an even more demonic form that grows greater in size, a pair of wings on his back as well as a pair of longhorns on his head, with flames on the back of his neck and both sides of his thighs. Shortly after, Garou grows two more arms while in this form.

After managing to avoid "God" trying to take over his body, Garou reverts into a physique more similar to that of his original monsterization form, but with featureless void filled with stars and galaxies over his front body.

Personality

Garou is introduced as an antagonist with a confident, vindictive characterization driven by a deep hatred for heroes. He hates being insulted and will attack anyone who offends him. He thinks highly of himself and uses that assertion to threaten high-ranking personnel such as heroes and Sitch. He will also attack low-ranked heroes and Hero Association staff members if he encounters them.

Garou hates those who are popular, as he believes the popular ones will always win in the end. This is because as a child, he had no friends and the popular children at school enjoyed abusing him both physically and verbally, particularly a boy named Tacchan. They forced him to play Heroes, where Tacchan ("Justice Man") would beat up Garou ("the monster"). Garou noticed how everyone liked Tacchan but hated him. After watching his life repeat over and over again on the basis of the Justice Man TV show, he grew a distaste of heroes in general and believed that in the end, the majority will always want him ("the monster") dead. However, this mentality also leads him to have a soft spot for victims, even his enemies. This is seen when fighting Superalloy Darkshine; when he begins attacking the hero's ears, he recalls moments when he and Tareo were bullied in a similar fashion and stops his attack.

Abilities and Powers

Prior to his hero hunt, Garou was Bang's best disciple and was able to defeat all of his fellow students before being expelled by Bang. Garou's combination of genius martial art intellect and heightened physical attributes allowed him to defeat numerous heroes from the Hero Association as well as many hardened criminals. During the ambush led by Death Gatling, Garou claimed to have defeated nearly a hundred heroes.

He was able to defeat the Tank Topper Army single-handedly early in his hero hunt, including the A-Class hero Tanktop Vegetarian and even the S-Class hero Tanktop Master, who was overwhelmed by Garou's superior technique.

Garou later challenged and defeated the S-Class hero Metal Bat, comparing him to an amateur fighter but privately admitted to himself that had a single one of Metal Bat's strikes connected, he could have lost.

His advanced martial arts, which he learned from his former master Bang, grants him an advantage when fighting humans. He can use targeted thrusts at joints and vital spots in order to incapacitate physical functions and return counterattacks after anticipating his opponent's movements. However, as a result of that, his fighting style becomes far less effective against beastly tactics and non-humanoid forms. This is proven when he is easily overwhelmed by Watchdog Man despite previously defeating two other S-Class heroes.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: Garou's strength is superhuman and on the level of an S-Class hero, he is capable of defeating A-Class heroes with little to no effort. He was able to rip Blue Fire's arm off and break Heavy Tank Loincloth's arm without difficulty, knocking him out with a single strike. He was also able to heavily injure Tanktop Master, an S-Class hero, with a barrage of strikes and defeat him after getting serious. He has shown able to knock out a grown man with a casual fillip to the face, pushing him back with enough force to also incapacitate another one right behind the first. Even in his weakened state, Garou was still able to defeat a group of A and B-Class heroes with either a short barrage of punches or a single strike.

Immense Durability: Garou is very resilient. He was able to take multiple attacks from Tanktop Master and remain standing, despite coughing up a lot of blood. Even when he was severely injured by Watchdog Man and later Saitama, he was still able to combat the group of A and B-Class heroes and tough out the pain. Even Shooter's poison arrows and the bullet hole in his leg from Gun Gun didn't slow him down, as noted by Glasses. He also survived an assault from two Demon-level monsters: Royal Ripper and Bug God, though he was put in a near-death state.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Garou possesses an extreme amount of speed and reflexes, far surpassing that of average heroes. He was able to effortlessly dodge a fire-based attack from Blue Fire and rip his arm off before the hero could even realize what happened. He also managed to react to and dodge, albeit barely, a point-blank bullet from Golden Ball despite being caught by surprise, as well as being able to quickly dodge a vast amount of the latter's bullets from multiple directions and redirect them into each other at the same time without difficulty after adapting to the dim-light environment. His amazing speed was once again shown when he was able to easily dodge and deflect all attacks from the S-Class hero Metal Bat, even moving faster than the latter could see. Even in his weakened state, Garou was still fast enough to outmaneuver the group of A and B-Class heroes and keep up with S-Class hero, Genos, in their fight.

Immense Stamina and Endurance: Garou possesses inhuman pain tolerance. He is able to continue fighting after suffering injuries which would incapacitate normal people, such as a beat-down from Tanktop Master, or when Spring Mustachio's sword stabs through his hand, without him so much as flinching. Moreover, after being weakened by multiple fights from the day before and suffering a fever, he managed to continue fighting multiple heroes at once and, in fact, defeated all of them using smart tactics and enduring all of the continuous pain. Even when being battered to a bloody pulp by both Bang and Bomb, arguably the two most powerful martial artists on the planet, slipping in and out of consciousness, and losing feeling in his arms, he was still able to persevere and create tremors in the ground, uproot a tree, and spin it at amazing speeds, to the utter shock of both Bang and Bomb.

Enhanced Senses: Garou is able to sense the trajectory of bullets from Golden Ball's Golden Breakout, even in the dark. He can predict the movements of Metal Bat's Savage Tornado attack. He is also able to sense that people are watching him, as he realizes he is being watched by two monsters despite being engaged in battle against Metal Bat at the time, as well as being able to sense killing intent very clearly. Moreover, he dodged Chain'n'toad's Ear Cutter, despite coming from a blind spot, just by instinct. It is also shown that his sense is sharp enough to enable him to deflect a barrage of shots from a Gatling gun flawlessly without letting a single shot hit him.

Accelerated Development: Garou's main attribute; in his first appearance at the Hero Association headquarters, the human monster admits that S-Class heroes would be too much for him to handle. Shortly afterward, however, he is capable of fighting against and defeating the very same S-Class heroes, such as Tanktop Master, in physical combat. This ability is shown to be at work mid-combat too, as seen when he was on the verge of defeat at the hands of Bang and Bomb but was able to turn the tables quickly on them despite his extreme injuries and exhaustion.

Fighting Style

Master Martial Artist: Garou is an extremely skilled fighter, who adapts to combat and uses the advantage of the opponent's weak spots to give himself the upper advantage in fights. His super learning ability (超学習能力, Chō Gakushū Nōryoku) allows him to learn countermeasures for other people's fighting styles while making their fighting styles his own. He shows this ability against Tanktop Master, where he attacks his weak spots and quickly turns the tables. Moreover, when fighting, Garou aims for the vital points and joints to make his opponents lose the ability to fight back very quickly. Furthermore, through analyzing his opponent's line of vision, posture, muscle tension, breathing, energy, movement patterns, and center of gravity he can effectively predict their next movements. Garou is even talented enough to acquire a martial art fighting style with only a single reading, specifically the Exploding Heart Release Fist.

Miscellaneous Abilities

Indomitable Will: One of Garou's defining traits and a factor that allows him to keep fighting, even when on the brink of death, is his sheer willpower.

Massive Appetite: Garou is shown to have a massive appetite, as he can stuff himself with the full list of items on the menu of a restaurant in order to rejuvenate himself. Despite his toned body and slim physique, he is able to stuff down large meals and even chug an entire pitcher of water with a single gulp, showing his enhanced metabolism.

Monsterfication

After being pushed to his limits in a series of fights against a team of A-Class and B-Class heroes, followed by Genos, Bang, and Bomb, Garou's evolution begins to skyrocket. Later, after being almost killed in his fight with Royal Ripper and Bug God, his power explosively increases and his clothes merge with his body causing him to slowly transform until only his face remains untouched.

As a result of being pushed to the brink of death and overcoming it, his limiter starts to break and he is identified by Gyoro Gyoro as being a "Half-Monster". His senses and abilities increase so that even while he is asleep, he's still extremely dangerous and able to fight enemies. Even though he admits he's not a pretty sight while he's asleep, he was strong enough to easily defeat Puri-Puri Prisoner.

Garou was able to put up a good fight against Superalloy Darkshine, although he suffered great injuries from his attacks. As their battle rages on, Garou's abilities increase to the point that he can match Superalloy Darkshine's full-power Superalloy Bazooka with his own attack without any difficulty or damage. His strength eventually increases to the point where he was able to pressure and harm the hero both physically and mentally before Tatsumaki interrupted their battle. Though it should be noted that this victory has more to do with the hero's underlying psychological insecurities than any significant advantage in power on Garou's side. After experiencing Garou's exponential rise in power firsthand, Darkshine comes to believe that nobody may stand a chance against him by the time he makes it to the surface.

Explosive Growth Rate: As a result of appearing to break his limiter, Garou's abilities can increase immensely in a very short period of time. He likens this to the Fighting Spirit (気合い, Kiai) ability Metal Bat has. Garou's growth rate allowed him to easily kill Royal Ripper, who before with Bug God had defeated Garou. He later went on to fight far more powerful foes such as Overgrown Rover, Gyoro Gyoro, and Orochi in rapid succession before being defeated by the latter. Garou demonstrated his escalating fighting skill in his battle with Superalloy Darkshine by continuously improving his strength and refining his skills against the S-Class hero until he completely overwhelmed him. During his fight with Bomb in his evolved state, the latter was also surprised by Garou's escalating fighting skill and commented that through his battles, Garou has combined various techniques and refined them into his own style, prompting the elder martial artist to wonder if that was a result of his monsterization. During his fight with Flashy Flash and Platinum Sperm, the battle was initially an even exchange between the three until Garou refined his fighting style and was able to gain the upper hand against both other fighters. Although initially unable to deal any notable damage to Sage Centipede's tough armor, when working in-tandem with Metal Bat and accidentally creating a combo attack with the hero, Garou overcame a charge from the giant monster, damaging its entire body and cracking its durable shell.

Augmented Strength: Garou in this state is capable of defeating Royal Ripper with a single strike. After being awakened by Puri-Puri Prisoner, Garou could easily break the chains holding him and seriously injure the hero with a barrage of strikes, penetrating his bristle armor as well as effortlessly defeating him shortly afterwards. It should be noted that Garou did this while he was sleep-fighting and wasn't right in his senses. Garou's enormous strength convinced Puri-Puri Prisoner that even a fellow S-Class hero like Superalloy Darkshine would have difficulty facing him. During their fight, Garou's attacks caused the hero to briefly cough up blood and pulverize the surrounding stone, reducing it to sand, with just the shockwaves from his blows.

Augmented Durability: Garou can survive several point-blank attacks from both Overgrown Rover and Monster King Orochi, albeit the latter was trying not to kill him. He was able to survive a powerful tackle from Superalloy Darkshine, which he believed it would be instant death if he was hit by it, although he suffered critical injuries with his ribcage shattering. Later during their fight, Garou evolved to the point where he could withstand Superalloy Darkshine's much stronger attacks, such as his Superalloy Bazooka, and Superalloy Double Bazooka.

Augmented Stamina and Endurance: As his monsterization progressed, Garou's stamina and endurance were further improved. In his fight with Overgrown Rover, Garou was able to endure a brutal assault from the Dragon-level monster and advance through the Monster Association Headquarters, eventually confronting Gyoro Gyoro and Orochi without rest. During his fight against Orochi, his body was pierced by one of the latter's horns but the injury did not slow him down and stop him from continuing fighting, despite the visible hole in his torso. Later, in his fight against Superalloy Darkshine, he showcased his amazing endurance when he was capable of fighting with increasing speed and ferocity even after his entire rib cage was shattered by the S-Class hero.

Enhanced Instincts: Garou is able to quickly discern the strength of his opponents by listening to the instinctual warning signals that his body sends him. He was able to intuitively determine that Overgrown Rover was a very dangerous monster, which led him to retreat.

Regeneration: Garou can heal very quickly, as he fully recovered his life-threatening injuries from Royal Ripper in only a few hours. He also regenerated getting pierced through his stomach after Orochi's extremely fast and flexible horn struck and left a big hole; the bleeding soon stopped, and at the time Puri-Puri Prisoner ran into him, the hole already fully regenerated.

Flight: In his fight with Saitama, Garou undergoes a transformation that grows a pair of wings on his back, allowing him the ability to fly.

Transformation: In his fight with Saitama, Garou showcased greater control over his monsterfication, to the point of purposefully creating a second pair of arms in an attempt to overwhelm Saitama.

Energy Projection: Garou used his two hands to form energy beams that were used as a jetpack to throw Saitama through a mountain.

Influence from "God"

"Awakened Garou: Cosmic Fear Mode" (覚醒ガロウ: 宇宙的コズミック恐怖フィアーモード, Kakusei Garō: Kozumikku Fiā Mōdo) is the form Garou assumes after escaping the body takeover by "God" in his fight against Saitama.[174] Its appearance is that of a featureless void filled with stars and galaxies. His silhouette is reminiscent of how he looked after his fight with Superalloy Darkshine. According to Blast, Garou was apparently able to stave off a full impartation of power from "God". Despite this, Garou's already incredible power reaches even more preposterous levels while in this form, capable of combating unbelievably powerful heroes such as Blast and a held back Saitama.

Universal Energy Projection and Cosmic Knowledge: Having received powers from "God", Garou has also gained knowledge of the flow of all energy as well as the behaviour of all forces in the universe. He can even control the energies of the universe as he pleases. This allows him to deliver extremely powerful blows of cosmic energy.

Cosmic Radiation: Due to his overwhelming power and God's influence, Garou constantly emits deadly levels of radiation poisoning from his body, which harms and incapacitates everyone in his surroundings. They begin to suffer the symptoms of Acute Radiation Syndrome, such as bleeding and hair loss. This ability seems to come out involuntarily as a side-effect of his attacks, but on a much greater scale. Blast even comments that is extremely dangerous and can kill all life on the planet.

Power Mimicry: Garou's ability to replicate fighting styles has been enhanced to incredible heights as he is able to duplicate Blast's ability to open portals and manipulate gravity just by fighting the number one hero briefly. This ability is strong enough that Garou believes he can win against Saitama if he manages to use his own power against him.

All Life Eradication Fist (全生命体根絶拳, Zen Seimeitai Konzetsu Ken; Viz: Fist Of Eradicating All Life Forms): An all new, all different martial art which Garou developed after receiving powers from "God". Having reached an epiphany on how the flow of energy works via his teachings received through study under his former master Bang, this cosmological empowerment enables the Hero Hunter to focus and utilize the natural energy flow of the universe itself in conjunction with his internal force channeling, enabling the simulation of natural universal phenomena through pure physical ability.

Shakkei (借勁): Some secret martial arts techniques that borrow the power of nature by imitating the movements of living things. Garou refers to them as "Modes", which he thinks sounds cooler. Using this ability, any techniques that Garou copies also get honed to perfection very quickly, rendering the original user soon unable to keep up with the duplicated techniques.

Augmented Strength: After transforming once again under the influence of "God", Garou's strength grows to even more preposterous levels. He was able to match a suppressed Saitama blow for blow in a collision of fists, unlike before when he was overpowered by the hero's Consecutive Normal Punches.

Augmented Durability: Garou's outstanding durability is even more drastically increased under this form, as he was able to withstand suppressed Saitama's Consecutive Normal Punches in an exchange of blows. He also came out relatively unscathed after taking a powerful punch from suppressed Saitama in the face. Garou has also been able to withstand Blast's Gravity Knuckle punches without visible damage.

Augmented Speed and Reflexes: Garou's immense speed and reflexes are further enhanced under this form, as he was able to keep up with suppressed Saitama and match him in an exchange of blows.

Overwhelming Presence: In Cosmic Fear Mode, when Garou appeared in front of many heroes on the surface, they all realized at that moment he was the monster that was the source of the massive explosions of energy. He seemingly possesses a frightening aura and pressure, and all of the heroes almost immediately sweat in fear as he approached them. Even S-Class heroes such as Zombieman and Flashy Flash felt the direness of the situation in their skin, realizing that running away would be useless. Many of the lower-class heroes began screaming in fear at the sight of Garou's evil presence, attempting to crawl and get away by any means possible.
